Congratulations to Paul Nicholson for being honored with this year’s Doherty Award.  A huge thank you to Paul for all he has done to make the Field Club the wonderful place for all of us!

Like Nana always said, “Many Hands make light the work!” We had lots of volunteers come out on April 27 to clean off the winter dirt and get the club ready for summer! The pool chairs, pool, and snuggery were cleaned off. Volunteers also cleaned and set up the tennis benches courtside and the summer furniture in the Anne Boisvert tennis center. Volunteers play an important role in making the Field Club look great!

SAVE THE DATE! The Spring Fling will be May 2nd at 6PM at the Fort. The evite has been sent out so check your email and and RSVP by April 25. The event is hosted by Cameron Burke and Meghan Schepart. Join your friends for a wonderful evening of socializing and catching up!

Rob Durfee receives the Doherty Award.

The Annual Meeting was held on November 7th, 2024 at the Longmeadow Country Club.   About 150 members attended the meeting.  The meeting was an opportunity for members to discuss the business of the club while also enjoying an evening with delicious appetizers, cocktails and friends! The Field Club Board honored Ann Boisvert with the naming of the Ann Boisvert Tennis Center. Rob Durfee was awarded the Doherty Award which is given to a Field Club member who deserves recognition for volunteering and contributing to the success of the Field Club.  Also, thanks to Lauren Life and her team for organizing the event.

Members are encouraged to read the book of their choosing and discuss by the pool or on the court over the summer. Book discussion meeting dates to be announced at a later time.

There will be 2 book selections for each month of the summer: a literary selection and a steamy selection.  June’s books: The Bee Sting by Paul Murray and Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score.
