Sat. June 17 at 8:00 Davis Cup hosted by Sam Edwards and Jenna Goodman
Sat. June 25 at 3:00 Get your Grill On! hosted by the Vivian Miller, Cary Dash, Scott and Susan Cooper.
Sat. July 1 at 7:00 As If! A Totally Bogus ’90s Mixer…NOT! hosted by Josh Levine, Katie Allen-Levine, Cameron, and Brendan Burke.
Sat. July 8 at 7:00 Dynamite Daiquiri Doubles hosted by David and Jackie Pleet.
Fri. July 21 Ladies’ Member Guest hosted by Jenna Goodman and Lori McMahon. Sign up with a tennis friend & enjoy a wonderful afternoon of tennis starting at 3 p.m. Please bring a dish or snack & plan on staying for potluck at the Paddle Hut. Sat. Aug. 19 at 9:00 Doubles Championships, August 19! Grab a partner and sign up on EZ Facility or on the board at the Field Club. Deadline to register is 5:00 p.m. Thursday, so that our pros can put together the lineups and schedule the matches.
You will be contacted Friday with your start time, but plan on arriving in time to be on the court and ready to play by 9:00 a.m. Light breakfast and Grapevine lunch will be provided (and billed to your account); please bring your own refillable water bottle, and any electrolytes or snacks.
Sat. Aug. 26 Singles Championships. Sign up on EZ Facility or on the board at the Field Club. Deadline to register is Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Players will be contacted Friday.
Fri. Sep. 8 at 7:00 Sonic Tonic hosted by Bill and Mona Swanson and Ned Steiger. Bring a dish to share; all the tonic and everything you expect with it supplied by your hosts. Sign up on EZ Facility or on the board at the Field Club.
Sat. Sep. 9 Annual Founders’ Cup. Sign up with your mixed doubles partner of choice on EZ Facility or on the board at the Field Club. Thursday deadline and Friday communication. We would love to see many members come out and participate! If you opt not to play, come cheer on our fellow members!
Looking ahead, we have two wonderful opportunities for members to participate in fundraisers at the Field Club.
Sun. Sep. 17 at 12:30 David Pleet will again be hosting Moving On UP for tennis and education. This event is always popular and is offering tremendous raffle prizes this year. Come on out and have a wonderful time while supporting a program for local youth. There will be no guest fees, so friends are welcome at this event!
Fri. Sep. 22, 6:00 Ann Boisvert will again host the fundraiser for Rick’s Place. Rick’s Place was founded in memory of Rick Thorpe (age 31), a Wilbraham resident, who was killed in the terror attacks in NYC on 9/11. Rick’s Place is a non-profit organization to help children and families deal with loss of a loved one, and the establishment is always in need of support. Please mark your calendars for this special event. Thank you, too, to those who will donate even if unable to attend the event.
